If you aren’t already hyped for one of the most anticipated superhero movies of all time, Avengers: Infinity War, I feel for you. There is no denying how epic this film is going to be. The huge ensemble of characters alone is going to be a sight to see and a truly defining moment for the MCU. There are a ton of characters we are excited to see interact with each other, in particular, the Guardians of The Galaxy crew.

The Guardians of The Galaxy have undoubtedly become one of the bread-winners for Marvel and for good reason. They bring a level of humor that is unmatched across any superhero film both DC and Marvel, with the exception of Deadpool. Rocket Racoon is somewhat of a fan favorite and many comic fans have been wondering what kind of relationship Rocket Racoon will have with The Hulk in Infinity War.

If you didn’t already know, Rocket Raccoon first appeared in The Incredible Hulk # 271 and was not met with much mainstream appeal until the film series. The fact that he made his first appearance in a Hulk issue had many of us wondering how one of the smallest heroes in the MCU would interact with the largest. In a recent interview with USA Today, Mark Ruffalo was asked about the nature of Rocket Raccoon and Hulk’s relationship and this is what he had to say:

“It’s a very funny relationship that the two of them have: First of all, it’s the biggest superhero and the smallest…just keeping them in a frame together is a feat and hilarious in itself.”

One thing is for sure, there is going to be a lot of death in Infinity War. Many of us are going to leave with some of our favorite characters meeting their demise. The humor that Hulk and Rocket Raccoon will undoubtedly share will be a welcome addition to the potential tear fest that Infinity War may be.

There may be some people who will argue that this is a bad thing, as they want Infinity War to be 100% serious and not as humorous as previous Marvel films like Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Nonetheless, Rocket and Hulk are sure to have quite a bit of chemistry, and we should expect more than a few epic moments shared between the two!
