Not Too Old For This $h!t: Lethal Weapon 5 Moving Forward At Warner Bros

According to a new report at Deadline Hollywood Warner Bros is moving ahead with discussions for Lethal Weapon 5. The Lethal Weapon franchise was a mega hit in the late 80’s and 90’s and starred Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as Police Detectives. The series was well known for high stakes action and humor as well as high drama. the four films to date have earned over $955 million worldwide and spawned a hit TV show on Fox.

According to news sources Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are both on board to reprise their roles with Richard Donner would be set to direct and Channing Gibson would script the 5th entry.  there are many hurtles and moving parts however it has been said that everyone are on board with exploring another film. Mel Gibson has recently been experiencing a career resurgence after his film Hacksaw Ridge was a critical and financial hit, exploring an old film series that is beloved would be a great way to continue his winning streak.
